Incredible and amazing! After less than twelve hours of having the video tests on the site I have had a record number of visitors leaving an improbable number of comments - in the hundreds.

All of it spam. Akismet, an anti-spam plug-in is now activated: < ?php akismet_counter(); ?> and should start learning what is and what is not spam. In the meantime, I will be moderating any comments you might like to leave.

Sorry for the inconvenience, but all of that rubbish is rather unsightly and does not leave the best of impressions.

This is a second test, using a different file format: “flv”. This file is much smaller, so dial-up friendly (small enough to stream in my dial-up in TRNC) and should be compatible with nearly every browser, with flash installed - as have 98% of all browsers. If you can see the player, then you have everything necessary.

File size is a mere 280kb! 0k, there is a trade off in picture quality…

There is nothing really special in the video - just a few strums.

This is a test to check compatibility of file formats and video palyers. You should be able to:

• Play the video in the player
• Open and close the player
• Play the video in a pop up [maybe this is disabled in your browser
• Download the video and play it in your favourite media player
• Find the video in iTunes - don’t ask me how though!

This file is 1.6mb in size, the file format is “asf”.

Here is another plug but this time it is a plug for a charming plugin. Using wordpress is quite different to using a html editor for making web pages.
